These terms apply to your use of the Build Jersey LLC website and to our text messaging program. Build Jersey LLC is a general contracting business operating in New Jersey.
Use of this website
The information on this site is provided for general information about our services. Descriptions of work, service areas and capabilities are not an offer or a guarantee of availability. Nothing on this site creates a contract. Any work we perform is governed by a separate written proposal and contract signed by both parties.
Estimates and proposals
Estimates are based on the scope described at the time they are prepared and remain valid for the period stated on the proposal. Allowances, unforeseen conditions and changes requested after work begins may change the final price, and any such change will be documented in a written change order before the work is performed.
Text messaging program terms
Program name and description
The Build Jersey LLC messaging program sends project-related text messages to customers of Build Jersey LLC. Messages include job and schedule updates, appointment confirmations, invoice and payment reminders, and payment confirmations relating to your own project.
How to join
Customers who contact Build Jersey LLC by text message receive a reply describing this program and asking them to confirm. Replying YES enrolls you. You may also give consent in writing or verbally when you engage us for work.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the activity on your project. You can expect approximately 2 to 10 messages per month while a project is active, and fewer or none between projects.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Build Jersey LLC does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

Reply HELP to any message from us, or email info@buildjersey.com or call (609) 309-0126.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. You can rejoin at any time by replying START.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Supported carriers
Messages are supported on major United States mobile carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.
Privacy
Your information is handled as described in our privacy policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payments
Payment terms, deposits and milestones are set out in your signed proposal or contract. Invoices are due on the terms stated on the invoice.
Warranty
Warranty terms for completed work are set out in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are passed through to you and are governed by the manufacturer's own terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Build Jersey LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. This does not limit any rights you have under your signed contract with us or under New Jersey law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and the regulations governing home improvement contractors.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
